Support
Last updated October 31, 2026Hey Babe is a private app for two people in a relationship. Here are answers to the most common questions.
Getting started
- Sign in with Apple, Google or an email link, then enter your first name.
- Pair: one of you taps Invite your partner and shares the link or QR code. The other opens the link, or taps I got an invite link and pastes it. Invites expire after a short time and work only once.
- Nicknames: each of you picks what you call the other. The app greets you with "Hey <nickname>!".
Privacy and safety
- Your requests, notes, nicknames and photos are end-to-end encrypted. We can't read them. See the Privacy Policy.
- Report or block: Settings → Privacy & data → Report a problem with my partner, or Unpair and block. Blocking unpairs you right away and that account can't pair with you again.
- Unpair: Settings → Privacy & data → Unpair. This deletes your shared encrypted history.
- Delete your account: Settings → Privacy & data → Delete my account. This happens right away, inside the app.
- Export your data: Settings → Privacy & data → Export my data.
- App lock: in Settings, turn on the Face ID (or Touch ID) lock with a backup PIN.
Troubleshooting
- Not getting notifications? Check that notifications are on for Hey Babe in your phone's Settings and in the app's Settings.
- New phone? Sign in with the same account and enter your backup passphrase to restore your keys. Without it, older messages can't be decrypted.
- Invite didn't work? Ask your partner for a fresh invite. Each one works once and expires.
